We believe you can personalise anything, but detailed below are the most common product categories people are currently customising using our platform. If what you are looking to personalise is not on this list, it does not mean it is not possible, just not very common yet – so please contact us, as we love a challenge!

Customisable products can be sold in so many different markets from workwear to photo gifts to footwear, so it would be almost impossible to come up with an exhaustive list. However detailed below are just some of the main industries where they are currently being sold, but challenge yourself and I am sure you will come up with market places not listed below. The market can be split into 2 main sectors B2C & B2B.

B2C – Business to Consumer

B2B – Business to Business

What is the Difference between the B2B & B2C Marketplaces?

Although in many cases the products are made the same way, there are quite a few differences between selling to businesses (B2B) and selling to consumers (B2C). We detail some of these below and are pleased to say we have solutions for them all!

  • B2B Customers are companies made up of multiple users rather than individual consumers for B2C

  • B2B usually has fewer online users placing more orders – but all users are linked to companies

  • B2B customers make more repeat transactions – so need features like re-order

  • Orders generally have higher transaction values (more Order Lines & SKUs) for B2B vs B2C but you get a higher volume of orders with B2C

  • Payment often On Account for B2B rather than by credit card for B2C

  • B2B users need more options to create new users, addresses, cost centres, approvals, projects & budgets

  • Pricing needs more options for B2B with different prices for different customers

  • B2C customers tend to use discount codes – these are less common in B2B

  • Related products are more commonly used in B2C as there is more impulse purchases and options to increase order values

  • B2C eCommerce websites are much more focused on products information to drive conversions

  • B2B Customer often want more information – reports on purchases etc
